Whatever it was seemed to glow and expand/contract. It stayed in the general area for maybe 25 minutes. When I went back out around 9:00pm it was gone. I’ve had this for awhile because there’s always an explanation to something. I’m just not sure what that something is. Besides family your site is the only one I’ve shared this with. I was traveling northbound on Belton Hwy when the bright blue orb flew past me directly above. It was 60 to 80 ft in diameter, glowing blue moving at least 100 mph. I saw it clearly and it was sperical bright blue and fast. Ill have a dash cam soon....

The sides/edges of the object(s) continued to disappear and re-appear translucently, as if light were refracting around edges- object(s) appeared to refract light with the translucent parts having a different index of refraction, at different intervals (you could see 1 side, then you couldn't, then you could see another side (translucently), then you couldn't, etc.), indicating visual light behavior having characteristics of birefringence. No discernable lights. Object(s) were ~ >1 mile away (either varying sizes or varying distances from point of view). Observed for approximately 45 minutes (object(s) remained after observation ended). When describing ephemeral sides/edges of the object as translucent: Not milky, similar to hot exhaust, or predator camouflage from movie Predator (great performance by Arnold) and to reiterate, clearly with discernible edges and in formation, not gas-like, in regards to related phenomenon. Implied (s) in object(s) to indicate multiple objects or one object emitting instances of other objects open-ended (similar to non-human versus extraterrestrial denotation). Birefringence is the optical property of transparent, molecularly ordered materials that causes light to split into two rays. The two rays are called the ordinary ray and the extraordinary ray. The extraordinary ray is bent at an angle as it travels through the material.

2 lights appeared out of nowhere just down and to the left of the moon. They got closer together after a few minutes. But when we first noticed them we noticed a faint lime of light between them like it was connecting them.

I occasionally spend time on my back deck observing space debris flyovers. I am very well versed in observing the ISS and space debris that is in orbit, and the way it reacts to light from the sun in relation to brightness and fading. Tonight it is a totally clear sky, so just after dark I decided to look for random space debris flyovers. While looking at approximately 275 degrees (WSW) at an elevation of approximately 75-80 degrees, I noticed what I assumed was a bright star. It was completely stationary and after about 10-15 seconds, began to dim. I thought this was odd since their is absolutely no clouds in my area tonight, and I could see stars all around the object.. The object regained brightness then it appeared to begin to decrease in size as if it was moving directly away from me. Then in an instant it was gone. As I stated previously, I am well versed in observing space debris, this object was stationary and brighter than any stars in the sky, that is what drew my attention to it. I live in a rural area without any significant lighting to interfere with viewing. On two previous occasions I observed an object that moved across the sky from north to south and then stop almost directly over my location, and remain stationary for an extended period of time until the shadow of the earth caused them to fade away. I assumed these objects were probably satellites that were being moved to a new geosynchronous orbit, so I did not bother reporting them. Tonight was a different deal altogether. I have also seen Iridium flares and I am sure that this was not one of them. I decided to report this, because I am 100% confident that what I saw was unlike anything I have witnessed from a man made object, at least the ones that I am aware of. I also decide to report on the outside chance that others might have seen and reported.

My granddaughter and I were driving down the Main Street in Anderson, SC. She told me to lookin the sky. There was between 50 to 75 objects hovering in the sky. A couple had lights... they just kind of moved around and then began going into the sky in a line. It was very low grey clouds and they disappeared into them. I have pictures of it. I cannot figure out what it could be. I did call the police dept and reported what we saw.
