Sighted an orangish/yellow glowing circular light that appeared to hover ,then back up and slowly descend into the woods.

I was on my way home from Norwich coming up route 165 and when I got near Pachaug marina and campground, I saw this amazingly bright light soaring through the sky, not too high up. When I got near the fields there were two other cars pulled over and the man asked me if I saw the light too? He then said it didn't make any noise. Crazy.
