What would the paper say?
UK sighting reports were handled by the MoD's UFO desk until 2009; later records answer to the Freedom of Information Act 2000, earlier files sit at the National Archives. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

Went to a annual city event ,when we got there saw a fast moving light in the sky ,looked like a star had the same shine but was not moving fast enough to be a shooting star thought it could be a satellite but was moving faster than a satellite would move, that did out of sight then saw 2 planes flying after each other in the same direction with about a 3-4gap between them so took some pics of there flight path then saw a 3rd and final plane follow the same path ,didn't check the pics till the next day and saw 3 distinct cone/triangle shape craft with green/yellow underglow.
