For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. While walking my dog in a dark area I was gazing up at the sky while my dog did his business. When I saw a large round glowing object lower straight down from the sky and hover still for approximately 10 seconds. It then shot across the sky towards to east in an upwards ascending motion. This object was very large and very quiet. It felt like it lasted for minutes but in reality is guess the whole event was less than 30 seconds.

I was driving home from work and came around the bend to see a few bright lights hovering over the water near Anthony's Oceanside restaurant. It looked like possibly a drone, but was enormous. I assumed there was something going on at the resort and this was some kind of manned object. However, as I drove out of sight, the houses were blocking my view, I noticed the lights seeming to move away from the water. As I rounded the corner towards the intersection, I saw the craft cross the intersection several hundred feet ahead of me. It was hovering maybe 50 feet above the ground, it appeared to move over the powerlines, passing by the Morris Cove fire house and by the pizza place, down the road. I did not follow. It had red and white lights, and was triangular in shape as far as I could tell. The lights hovering above the ground were the easiest thing to see in the darkness. It looked to be at least the size of a large car, but much wider at the base.

Saw what looked like a fireball or plane on fire in the sky. We live right by an airport, so I first shrugged it off then thought that's like on fire or something so I ran inside to get my husband. He's usually the one that explains things and he said the same thing like a plane on fire but no blinking lights at all or a tail or trail. It flew off over the house towards the Long Island Sound. I wish I would have taken a picture, but it happened so fast after I ran back inside to get my husband.

My attention was drawn to the brightest star I've ever seen. Then I noticed it didn't appear to be a star at all. Instead it looked something like my imagination would envision a rocket to look like; except it was stationary. It was many times brighter and lower than any other star in the sky. It didn't twinkle. It seemed as if the main body had almost a diamond shape and an equally as bright white trail. Then to my amazement as I scanned the sky I saw two more of the exact same description. The brightest was to the north of my location. The one in the sky directly before me (I was facing east so it would have been out over the Atlantic shore) seemed highest in the sky. The third was in between the altitude of the other two and was in the southern sky. They were equidistant from one another. I know they weren't stars because there were stars in the sky and none looked anything like these. I watched as long as the cold would allow me, about twenty minutes. I went outside on the back porch to have a cigarette about 3:30am, as I often do. I was looking east, just noticing the complete quiet and stillness of the night. I was out there for 3 or 4 minutes, when suddenly a huge, round, extremely bright fireball seemed to just drop straight down out of the sky from no where! It seemed as if it was coming directly towards me, as it was getting bigger and brighter. It was going faster than any airplane I have ever seen, but not as fast as a shooting star. Its movement seemed very deliberate. After about 45 or so seconds, it seemed to stop for a moment, and then go in the opposite direction. I briefly thought it disappeared, it seemed to turn white for a moment, then bright red again while continuing in the second direction away from me. About 15-20 seconds later, it just disappeared. I just stood there in complete amazement for the next 5 minutes! About 5 hours earlier, I witnessed with my next door neighbor, a series! of bright, white, round objects, (15 or so), traveling in some sort of pattern, from west to east. I wrote out one of these reports earlier about that incident! My friend was joking earlier saying "are we being invaded'? I laughed! Now maybe it isn't so funny! What are we seeing?

My next door neighbor and myself were outside talking, as we often do. I myself am outside nightly observing the sky. I have seen hundreds of shooting stars, the ISS, drones, satellites, etc. All of a sudden I looked up, and saw a formation of several large, round, bright lights moving across the sky. They were completely silent. I was yelling to my friend "do you see that"? We both just stood and stared. Some were in a line, some in a triangular shape, followed by more in a line. Looking up they went along much faster than any aircraft we had ever seen, and then just disappeared one by one. About a minute after they were gone, three more came across, one by one, followed the same path as the others, and disappeared as well. They remained completely silent. They were about 1/2 the size of a full moon, but much more brilliant. I myself have also seen, 3 times in my life, UFO's. This was nothing like any of them. What did we see?
