Le 22 décembre 2001 vers 2 heures 30 un témoin en voiture observe une grande forme triangulaire volant lentement et silencieusement. Après avoir arrêté son véhicule, le témoin en descend et constate que le phénomène est stationnaire une dizaine de secondes au-dessus de lui avant de repartir. Sous l'objet se trouvait des feux très brillants et très mobiles, "l'avant" de l'objet semblait être en plexiglas. L'enquête montrera que la personnalité du témoin rend ce témoignage peu crédible.
