We witnessed an airplane disappear. We were sitting outside around 8:30 pm. An airplane was traveling west to east in the sky. It had a nice contrail behind it as it came across the sky. As it came across all of a sudden the aircraft AND the contrail disappeared. It like faded away. Was weird to witness. There was no clouds in the sky so it did not disappear behind a cloud. It just literally faded away and disappeared. No sound, but normally with aircraft that high you do not hear them anyways. The sun did reflect off of it, but couldn't tell about any aircraft on the lights. I own a very good ads-b setup here at the house. I quickly came to check out what aircraft it was. And there was no aircraft on the adsb-b in this area at the time. None that were traveling in the area or direction. So to put a long story short: We witnessed an airplane flying in the sky from west to east. I do not want to approx. the altitude. But the sun was shining off the aircraft and had a strong contrail behind it. Then it faded away above us, without a cloud in the sky. The airplane AND the contrail just faded away and disappeared. And there was nothing on my ads-b tracker. I did take a video of it with the cell phone. But with it being a cell phone, I do not know how the quality will be. About us: We frequently watch the skies and know what is normal in the skies. We frequently watch the skies for the airplanes.

June 7th 2018 Loves Park, Illinois 61111 11:36 AM CDT I bought a Canon T6I camera the day before. So I wanted to test it out and saw the moon was in the sky during the daytime to my W/SW. So I took a few photographs of the moon. I snapped a few photos in rapid succession When I took the photos of the moon, I did not see the objects with my naked eye. When I uploaded the photos to the PC, that is when I noticed the objects. I sent the main photo of interest (IMG_0084) So it was my 84th photo of the camera. I also sent the photo before and after, so you can see the exif information and see these are straight from the camera and un-edited. Photo IMG_0084 I was taking a photo of the moon. There is 1 visible object just to the upper left of the moon. If you put it into an editing software, you can see there is 3 objects total. 1 visible, 2 not visible. As you can see in the photo before and after, you can see the photos were shot in rapid succession and the times and exif info of the photos. So you can see these are unedited. They only appeared in the one photo. As for what it may be, I do not know. But figured you might be interested I am going to email you the photos via email.

I walked outside at 6:20 am and saw a light in the sky. The light reminded me of the ISS or a satellite, but much brighter. It was almost above me just to my south. It was moving from the West to the SouthWest. It was moving at a slow/medium pace. As I said, I thought it was the ISS or satellite. There was no sound or visible features. But the thing that happened next, convinced me it was not. As it was moving, it just stopped and hovered. I sat there and watched it for approx 6 minutes as it hovered in the sky. It was doing a "rocking" motion. The light was still bright but the size was just slightly smaller than when I first saw it. The ISS, Satellite, Chinese Lanterns, etc... Do NOT move and then stop and hover.
