Le 11 août 1996, entre 00h30 et 01h30 un témoin et son épouse observent un phénoméne lumineux circulaire se déplaçant lentement de droite à gauche. Les témoins ont observé ce phénomène durant 45 minutes environ et sont allés se coucher alors que le phénomène était toujours présent. L'enquête montrera que la direction de l'observation correspond à celle d'une discothèque utilisant un projecteur laser publicitaire. Le phénomène observé était donc sans doute l'effet de ce projecteur sur les nuages. [GEIPAN classification B — Phénomène identifié non indiqué]
