What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

I was letting my dog out to go to the bathroom after a good nights sleep. And I was looking up at the sky and I thought I saw a shooting star but it was moving slower than a shooting star would. Then rapidly 4 more lights (Maybe it was 5) shown through the clouds near by the original light and they were going pretty fast. I could see the lights fading and getting brighter as they moved through the clouds. Then I just couldn't see them anymore. I waited another minute to see if they would return, but nothing. I called the national weather service to see if they see if they saw anything on the radar and they said no. The lights came from the south along the Mississippi and headed north/north east. There is an airport near by. Maybe I'm just crazy. I just wanted to report it in case someone else woke up this morning and seen the same thing. Also, there were no sounds.

On the morning of September 26, 2022, I was driving along the Purple Heart Memorial Highway and noticed something high up in the sky. The morning was bright, without clouds in the sky, so visibility was very clear. Upon seeing the object, I immediately remembered that I had seen an identical object, in the same location, about a year so prior. The first time I saw the image, it caught my eye because it was a very bright, reflective, silver object in the middle of an open sky. It did not move, it just reflected the light as if the sunlight was reflecting off of a very shiny metallic surface. It was in the shape of a rectangle and lasted for about 40 seconds. I kept looking at it wondering what it could possibly be, and as I was looking at it, it appeared to turn sideways and completely disappear in a matter of a second. It was as if the object was flat so when it turned from showing it’s entire surface, it became a very thin sliver of a rectangle and then completely just disappeared. I continued to drive and look all around that area and never saw it again. This second time of seeing an object, it was similar in shape and reflectiveness and once again just vanished. It did not last (visibly) as long as the first sighting. But since I had seen it before I recognized what it could have been. I never saw this one again after it disappeared. I was far enough away from it that if it would have been a drone it would have appeared much smaller. This was a larger object in the sky for me to be able to see it like I did. It was also very high up in the sky so I’m not sure what would even fly that high up.

Looked like fireworks at first but then they hung in the air. I thought maybe it was a fire over the horizon because they seemed to be lighting up the ground. Most of them seemed to slowly sink down over the horizon and I could see smoke (with binoculars). Then another one seemed to appear out of nowhere. It hung in the air for a while (very bright) then seemed to speed away very quickly. They were a long ways off, seemed to be in the vicinity of Sparta WI.

It was looking out the back porch windows at about 3:30am (couldn’t sleep) and looked up to check out the stars. The sky was incredibly clear. Looking south, in the direction of Orion was a triangle gliding across the sky, over the house and heading northwest. It was a nearly black triangle with lights all around it. 9 in all: one in each corner and 2 in between. None of them blinked and they were a soft off-white color. It slowly glided over the neighborhood. After it passed over the house and out of sight, I waited for any airplane noise but I never heard any. I watched the windowpanes for a while to see if the passing cars made the same light pattern on the glass and they never did. I was never afraid AND I just went back to bed and fell asleep (which I hadn't been able to do up until that point) and didn’t remember it the next morning until after I walked the dog and started reading my weirder websites and one of them mentioned a UFO sighting and I was like all of a sudden, OMG! I saw a UFO last night! How could I have forgotten that?
