Le 9 mars 1996 vers 21h20, un pilote privé observe le déplacement durant 40 minutes d'une ou deux lumières blanches ainsi qu'une lumière verte et une rouge. Ces lumières étaient suivies d'une trainée lumineuse. Le témoin a immédiatement averti les gendarmes mais le phénomène avait disparu lorsqu'ils sont arrivés vers 22h15.
