I looked down at my phone to see if I was able to actually capture this on camera and I did. But then I looked back up to see if it was still there and it was gone. Honestly, I didn't think too much into it until my girlfriend came home and I told her about what I saw. Then she told me about her coworker. Her coworker's husband was hiking on Mt. Hood and saw the same strange object in the sky at the same time I did and he also got some pictures and possibly a short video. He did not see or hear the F-15 jets though.

I drive for work, was out on a delivery, thought the scenery was beautiful so I snapped a few photos. The very last one I had taken was accidental and I realized there was something different about it, something that had appeared in the sky. When I looked up it was clear as day, three white circular lights... I thought maybe I was not seeing correctly, and when I looked to take another photo it was gone.

I witnessed a large group (15-20) - quick approximate) of grayish egg shaped objects moving very fast at what appears to be high altitude. No discernible sounds was heard but that may not be surprising given its high altitude. Many change position as they moved. You can see this in the video.

Me and my ex girlfriend were sitting up at a lookout spot near Iron Mountain Road, up on top of Iron Mountain trail. It overlooks a large area of forest and some private neighborhoods. We were smoking a cigarette, when I suddenly spotted what I thought was the glow of a car headlight, but then realized it was slowly sailing over the very top of the treeline in the forest. We were higher in elevation than the craft so we were looking down upon it, which was approx a quarter mile away from us. It was very clearly seen upon focusing and it was just an orange ball of light. It was really slow and hovered over the treeline in a somewhat straight line that headed kind of towards us. We could eventually see that it may of had a "searchlight" or something like that and it was shining it down into the forest like it was looking for something. It was really strange and we have both never seen something like this. It was so obviously clear and absolutely couldn't have been anything else, we were certain of what we saw. It sort of vanished from view after moving behind taller trees but it seemed that it should've still been visible, although it never re-appeared. We both felt like we had lost ourselves in the sighting and had to collect our senses afterwards.
