Dans la nuit du 12 au 13 août 1994 entre 1h et 1h30 quatre témoins déclarent avoir observé le long de la route durant environ 14 km une boule blanche tournoyant dans le ciel. L'enquête démontrera rapidement qu'il s'agit de l'observation du projecteur laser type "skyrose" utilisé à titre d'essai par une discothèque distante d'environ 6 km du lieu de l'observation.
