En avril 2008, un témoin rapporte que lors de vacances en Camargue en 1993, il a observé avec une autre personne un phénomène lumineux particulier. Arrivé très vite comme une étoile filante ce phénomène a ralenti puis stoppé, fait plusieurs zigzags pour disparaître à la verticale à très grande vitesse. Nos demandes d'informations complémentaires sont restées sans réponse. Cette observation très ancienne, reste sans indication précise de lieu ni de date (le 01/01 a été donné arbitrairement). Aucune enquête n'est possible sur une observation sans grande étrangeté qui fait penser à l'observation d'une rentrée atmosphérique.
