Dans la nuit du 4 au 5 septembre 1993, vers minuit, quatre témoins dans leur véhicule observent un point lumineux orange vif plus gros qu'une étoile qui se déplace comme un avion en se rapprochant. L'observation a duré 2 à 3 minutes durant lesquelles l'objet a brusquement changé de forme pour devenir un losange très allongé ou une forme de cigare. Aucun bruit n'a été perçu.
