The report, as filed
Le mercredi 9 décembre 1992 vers 21h, un gendarme adjoint au chef de brigade ainsi que son épouse observent un phénomène lumineux de grande ampleur avec 5 ou 6 rectangles éclairés et alignés ainsi que 2 éclairs bleus particulièrement intenses, à chaque extrémité de la rangée de rectangles. L'observation n'a duré que quelques secondes. Le conducteur a freiné et le véhicule qui le suivait a également ralenti mais ce second véhicule n'a pu être retrouvé. Le phénomène n'a pu être expliqué.
