Le 14 septembre 1985 à 17h un témoin observe durant une heure un objet en forme de coupole avec des lumières à l'intérieur. Bien plus tard dans la soirée et avec des jumelles, l'objet semble être suivi d'une incandescence. L'observation sera également faite aux jumelles par les gendarmes et le directeur d'un observatoire : malheureusement la brume empêchera toute observation au télescope.
