Le 22 octobre 1984 vers 18h 50 deux automobilistes aperçoivent prés d'une voie férrée une lumière intense. Celle-ci a la forme d'une boule blanche et un faisceau blanc aux contours nets s'en détache. Les fenètres des voitures étant fermée aucun bruit n'est perçu. L'enquète démontrera qu'il s'agit du projecteur de 600 watts d'un hélicoptère Puma en phase d'approche pour l'atterrissage dans la base militaire toute proche.
