Le 27 avril 1984 des observations faites par plusieurs témoins ont lieu au-dessus de deux communes de l'Isère : un objet triangulaire très brillant reste stationnaire et peut être observé entre un quart d'heure et une heure trente cinq. Deux témoins verront l'élévation et la disparition progressive de l'objet après l'apparition d'une fumée épaisse. Aucune autre information n'a été recueillie sur ce phénomène.
