Le 15 novembre 1983 entre 5h et 6h du matin, des témoins situés dans plusieurs départements (Yonne, Seine et Marne, Paris, Essonne, Seine-Saint-Denis et Pas-de-Calais ) vont observer un phénomène particulier. Tous verront une masse lumineuse intense et colorée passer à grande vitesse. Aucun bruit n'est remarqué par les témoins lors des observations qui durent environ une dizaines de secondes.
