Entre le 24 et 29 septembre 1983, plusieurs témoins ont aperçu dans le ciel un objet de forme circulaire de 50 cm de diamètre environ émettant une lumière jaunâtre et des rayons de différentes longueurs. Un témoin, qui a pu faire une observation au téléobjectif, indique qu'il a remarqué un noyau sombre entouré d'un cercle lumineux. Il s'agit probablement d'une observation astronomique.
