Le 21 octobre 1981 vers 18 heures 45, 3 témoins ont vu durant quelques secondes le passage une boule très lumineuse qui se déplaçait très rapidement. Cette boule blanche au départ avait une trainée et a viré au rouge avant de disparaître. Cette observation présente toutes les caractéristiques d'une rentrée atmosphérique.
