Le 3 août 1981 vers 22h 45 plusieurs personnes ont aperçu un objet zigzagant à très haute altitude. La trajectoire était Est-Ouest et il se déplaçait à très grande vitesse. L'objet lumineux émettait des feux clignotant blancs et rouges. Aucun bruit n'a été entendu durant l'observation qui a duré moins de cinq minutes.
