Le 17 octobre 1980, à 23 heures 15, plusieurs témoins voient arriver deux phares puissants à une altitude d'environ 200 mètres. Lorsque les phares virent à gauche, les témoins observent un engin sombre "en forme de coquille st jacques" avec deux feux rouges fixes sur les côtés. L'engin émet un bruit sourd. Il est très probable que les témoins ont vu un aéronef non identifié qui peut être un ballon dirigeable. [GEIPAN classification B — Phénomène identifié non indiqué]
