Le 12 septembre 1980 à 4h28, des gendarmes en patrouille observent un phénomène lumineux dans le ciel. Durant 1h 30 une boule lumineusse située au N-E se déplace lentement. Cette sphère est de couleur jaune et présente des variqtions d'intensité.le temps est très clair, la visibilité très bonne et sans Lune. Ces personnes ont fait une observation astronomique de Vénus, celle-ci étant particulièrement visible ( magnitude 4,15) en cette période de l'année.
