Le 14 juillet 1979 entre 21h50 et 21h 55, deux témoins aperçoivent dans le ciel à une altitude de 100 à 150 m, un objet arondi de la forme d'un chaudron et de couleur inox ou aluminium. Sa trajectoire horizontale est NE-SO et il se déplace en oscillant régulièrement et sans bruit. Des reflets apparaissent lors du déplacement. Aucun autre témoignage n'a été recueilli sur ce phénomène. D'après la description et à la date du 14 juillet beaucoup d'objets insolites se déplacent à basse altitude : ces témoins ont probablement vu le passage d'un cerf volant.
