Le 19 janvier 1979 vers 18h 30 deux automobilistes remarquent dans le ciel deux feux blancs de forte intensité ainsi qu'une lueur rouge et orange venant d'un objet qu'ils ne peuvent définir. Un déplacement en direction du Sud-Est est constaté alors qu'aucun bruit n'est entendu. Aucun autre témoignage n'a pu être recueilli. Lors de l'enquète, il est établi que des vols d'entrainements d'un bi-moteur ont eu lieu le 19 janvier entre 17h 30 et 19h. Cet avion possède deux puissants projecteurs à l'avant et des demi-tours ont été effectués au-dessus du secteur concerné. [GEIPAN classification A — Phénomène identifié non indiqué]
