The report, as filed
Le 3 janvier 1979 deux personnes observent à 6h 50 un objet brillant à basse altitude dans la direction du Sud Sud-Est. Demi sphérique et accompagné d'une gerbe d'étincelles, cet objet se déplacera progressivement et sans bruit pour disparaître en direction du Sud. Ces personnes sont probablement fait une observation astronomique de Vénus particulièrement visible dans le ciel à cette période (magnitude 4,46) d'après la carte du ciel. Un automobiliste circulant vers 19h apercevra ce même jour un autre objet volant. Durant 3 à 4 secondes il voit une boule se déplaçant silencieusement à très haute altitude et sur une trajectoire Nord-Sud. Cette personne a probablement vu un ballon-sonde mais nous manquons d'informations sur ce dernier objet. [GEIPAN classification B — Phénomène identifié non indiqué]
