Le 10 décembre 1978 à partir de 6h40 plusieurs témoins dont des gendarmes observent un phénomène lumineux particulier à l'Ouest dans le ciel. Ce phénomène semble animé d'un mouvement pendulaire et ascencionnel. Il a progressivement diminué et a disparu vers 9h30. Ces témoins ont fait une observation de la planête Vénus.
