Le 28 octobre 1978 vers 19h10 plusieurs témoins observent le passage rapide d'Est en Ouest d'un phénomène lumineux dans le ciel. Les témoins décrivent une boule de feu avec une trainée lumineuse sur une trajectoire horizontale. Aucun bruit n'est entendu durant l'observation. Le phénomène s'étaint soudainement. Au vu des descriptions, ces personnes ont probablement été témoins d'une rentrée atmosphérique. [GEIPAN classification B — Phénomène identifié non indiqué]
