Le 18 décembre 1976 à 5h du matin, un témoin constate par la fenètre de sa chambre une lueur de couleur rouge et une masse sombre se déplaçant dans le sens N-S à basse altitude. Aucun bruit n'est entendu durant l'observation dans ce matin légèrement brumeux. Aucun autre témoignage ne sera recueilli sur cette observation pour laquellle nous manquons de d'informations.
