Le 19 octobre 1976 vers 23h40 une famille en voiture constate dans le ciel le déplacement d'un objet particulier doté de faisceaux lumineux à chaque extrémité. Cet objet émet des lumières vers le sol puis s'élève après avoir éteint ses faisceaux et disparait vers l'Est. Une personne dont l'habitation est située dans la vallée où s'est déroulée l'observation a constaté des perturbations sur son poste de télévision vers 23h30 mais n'a fait aucune observation directe. Aucune information permettant de valider une hypothèse n'a été recueillie auprés des différents services constactés (Météo, service radar, EDF, stations d'épuration et d'équarissage situées à proximité et fonctionnant nuit et jour).
