Le 03 aout 1976 vers 11h45 un agriculteur constate dans le ciel le lent déplacement d'un appareil de forme cylindrique et de couleur aluminium qui brille constamment. L'observation dure 30 minutes avant que l'objet ne disparaisse à l'horizon. Lors de l'enquête de voisinage, plusieurs personnes ont reconnu dans la description faite de l'objet, un ballon publicitaire pour un fabricant de pneumatiques vu plusieurs fois dans la même journée.
