Le 17 février 1975 entre 19h20 et 19h50 plusieurs témoins dans différents départements français constatent dans le ciel la présence inhabituelle d'un ou deux points importants et particulièrement lumineux. Aucun bruit n'est entendu durant les longues observations faites par les témoins. Ces témoins ont fait une observation astronomique de la conjonction des planètes Vénus et Jupiter particulièrement visible en cette période de l'année. [GEIPAN classification A — Conjonction]
